Who We’re Here For

At HAS, we believe that no one should have to struggle in silence. Mental health support should be accessible, immediate, and without barriers. That’s why we’re here, on the streets of Bristol, offering real-time support for those who need it most.

Anyone in the earliest stages of mental health decline – If you’ve started feeling low, anxious, or numb and don’t know why, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Anyone at crisis point – If you feel lost, hopeless, or don’t know where to turn, you don’t have to do this alone.

Those stuck on long waiting lists – If you’ve bravely reached out for professional help but been told you have to wait months for an appointment, know that you can talk to us now.

Those experiencing sudden distress in public – Panic can strike anywhere, at any time. If you feel overwhelmed while shopping, commuting, or just going about your day, look for our team—we’re here to help.

Friends and family supporting a loved one – Watching someone you care about struggle can feel heartbreaking and helpless. We offer a listening ear and guidance—because you shouldn’t have to go through it alone either.

Caregivers and supporters – Supporting someone else’s mental health is exhausting. You deserve support too. We provide a safe space for you to share, seek advice, and refill your cup.

Bristol staff and workers – Mental health struggles don’t pause during work hours. If you’re a staff member in need of support, we’re here for you too.

Those in immediate crisis – Our teams actively patrol high-risk areas to provide urgent intervention when time is critical. We have been able to identify, intervene, and assist in life-threatening situations, ensuring that emergency help arrives in time.
