Our vision is ambitious – to create a city where no one reaches the point of crisis alone. This means ensuring there are volunteer mental health responders available 24/7 for anyone grappling with mental health challenges.

We can’t achieve this vision without your support. Every one of our volunteer mental health responders requires specialised training and equipment to provide lifesaving support safely. Your donations help us recruit, train and equip these volunteer responders to reach more people in crisis.

Where does your donation go?

Mental Health Responders

Every new volunteer we recruit provides more care and support in the community. Each one needs to be provided with vital training and a uniform, including safety equipment.

Listening Hubs

Although the Listening Hub spaces are generously donated by our partners, Broadmead and Cabot Circus, and run by volunteers, equipping and running them day-to-day costs money.

After Care Team

Anyone who has spoken to one of our Responders will receive a follow up call from our After Care team within 24 hours if they need it. These volunteers also receive specialist training.

Advocacy

Specialist training is also provided to volunteers who support people struggling with mental health by providing advocacy and help with making referrals so they don’t have to do it alone.

Together, we can make a significant impact on mental health and suicide prevention.
