Response Manager

I joined Hope Against Suicide because I’m passionate about creating safe and inclusive spaces that allow people to feel empowered to start conversations about mental health and suicide. I find being part of impactful organisations working on the front line of the mental health crisis helps me channel my sadness and frustration over these issues into such formative and enjoyable experiences.

Sometimes it’s easy to feel trapped in the injustice of suicide. That’s why it’s so important to remember all the people and organisations who are actually making it better, and encouraging those struggling to wait and see how life can be different, and how choosing to keep living will always be the better choice.

Outside of volunteering, I like hanging out with my cat, connecting with the queer community in Bristol and I’m an avid ballroom dancer!

I’m so grateful for all the people I’ve met through Hope Against Suicide. It’s amazing being part of something where everyone is so passionate about supporting others struggling with their mental health.
