Hope Against Suicide Receives the Lord Mayor’s Medal 2025
We are incredibly proud to announce that Hope Against Suicide has been awarded the Lord Mayor’s Medal, 2025. This award is an honour which recognises individuals and organisations making an outstanding contribution to the Bristol community.
Our Founder, Clare, and Head of Operations, Ant, accepted the award on behalf of the entire Hope Against Suicide team, and most especially, on behalf of our extraordinary volunteers. As a fully volunteer-led charity, everything we do is powered by compassion, commitment, and the unwavering belief that no one should face mental health struggles alone.
From those working quietly behind the scenes to the supporters who champion our mission every day.
We remain dedicated to reaching those who need us most, working within our communities to provide real, meaningful support. This award strengthens our resolve to keep going and to show our community just how deeply we care.
We are incredibly thankful to Councillor Lorraine Francis and Bristol the Broadmead Bristol BID for your kind support in our nomination, and to the Lord Mayor’s Office for this meaningful gesture.
Thank you to our volunteers, partners, and every single person who has stood beside us.
