Hi, I am a mother of 4 children, three of whom have already grown up. Over the years, my family and I have faced numerous challenges, ranging from complex health diagnoses, struggles with mental health, and the difficulties of communication and learning, to a dramatic change in our political landscape that forced us to emigrate.

Right now, part of my family is trying to survive in Ukraine. These are some of the closest, most amazing people I know, and I can’t be there to help them, but, through all of this, what kept me going was the support I received from those who listened to me, people who allowed me to share my fears, doubts, and pain. It was often just having someone to talk to that helped me begin to find solutions and grow stronger.

I’m grateful to be here, to be part of a community at Hope Against Suicide who values connection, empathy, and understanding. 💓
