I joined HAS because I wanted to challenge myself and explore something new. Having never volunteered for a suicide-related charity before, I saw it as a valuable opportunity to learn and develop my soft skills.

I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people and giving back to the Bristol community, especially since my own life has improved so much since moving here.

Fun fact: I have two cats called Phil and Grant – yes, just like the characters from EastEnders!
